Ashanti Shequoiya Doug, known as Ashanti, was born on the 13th of October 1981 on the 13th of October, 1980 in Glen Cove New York United States. She is a singer, songwriter from America and actor. Ashanti was a teenager singer-songwriter and actress from America is signed with Murder Inc. Records to make a record in 2002. The same year, she was featured on the Fat Joe's What's Luv? track and Ja Rule's Always on Time track. Both have become huge hit songs.
